Day 1 — Tue 24 Mar — Arrival & East London exploration (Full day out; hotel in the evening)
Early flight Málaga → London (arrive 2.5hr before departure). Meet at arrivals; group leader brief + luggage tag check.
Morning walking tour (East London): Transfer by rail into East London.
Tower Bridge (external viewing & photo stop)
Tower of London (external walkthrough of the Tower’s perimeter; explain history; optional later paid visit left as optional)
Late morning / lunch:Brick Lane Market area — street food / bagels / budget curries (students sample local East London culture; supervised free-explore in small groups).
Early afternoon: Walk to Millennium Bridge → cross to South Bank; view St Paul’s Cathedral across the river (external) and suggest group photos.
Short stop at Tate Modern (free galleries — optional).
Late afternoon: South Bank riverside stroll toward London Eye (view from outside, photo stop).
Evening: Group dinner in a budget cafe near South Bank / Brick Lane (pre-booked set menu). Transfer to hotel (check-in, dorm allocation, briefing for next day).
Day 3 — Wed 25 Mar — Westminster, Parks & Evensong
Morning (early): Transfer into Westminster area.
Big Ben & Houses of Parliament (exterior photos & short guided talk)
Westminster Abbey — daytime visit plan and Evensong in the evening (students attend Evensong; note: Evensong is usually free but subject to Abbey schedule — we will reserve places if required).
Mid-morning: Walk through St James’s Park to Buckingham Palace for Change of the Guard (watching from outside; schedule varies — we plan the morning around the official schedule).
Lunch: Pre-booked budget restaurant near Trafalgar Square / Whitehall.
Afternoon central highlights (walking):
Trafalgar Square → The National Gallery (free — teacher-led activity sheet to identify 3 masterpieces).
Walk past M&M’s World and Chinatown (photo + quick free time).
Evening:Evensong at Westminster Abbey (evening slot). After Evensong, group dinner nearby (budget set menu). Return to hotel.
Note: Change of Guard & Evensong are scheduled events — we’ll confirm exact times and reserve spaces/plan around official timings. (We’ll check the official pages/rota when confirming bookings.)
Day 2 — Thur 26 Mar — East London revisit + Museums & Hyde Park
Morning: Revisit East London if students want deeper exploration, or combine:
Brick Lane street art walk; vintage stores; multicultural food.
Optional curated mini-challenge: “Find 3 different languages on menu boards” — safe mini-competition during supervised free time.
Late morning → Early afternoon:British Museum (free). Provide activity sheets for key artifacts (Rosetta Stone, Elgin Marbles, Egyptian galleries).
Afternoon: Oxford Street window-shopping & walk to Hyde Park (Serpentine / boating lake area). Students allowed free time near Hyde Park (supervised) — boat hire is paid (optional), otherwise enjoy the park and Serpentine viewpoints.
Evening: Budget group dinner near Oxford Street / Leicester Square. Briefing & packing for departure.
Day 4 — Fri 27 Mar — Wrap / free time & reflection (short morning)
Morning: Final short guided reflection walk (choose student presentations on “best learning moment” at Trafalgar Square / near group meeting point).
Late morning: Return to hotel, check out, collect luggage. Light lunch included (grab & go bags for the journey).
Midday / early afternoon: Coach / rail transfer to airport. No activities scheduled — travel only. Flight Málaga.
Notes on Student Free-Explore
Each free-explore is in small, supervised groups (4–6 students) with a teacher assigning. Students carry a meeting card with rendezvous, chaperone phone, and ID card.
Provide challenge sheets (photo scavenger hunts, language exchange tasks) to encourage learning while independent.
Emergency protocols: local SIM or group WhatsApp + supervisor phone list.
